This financial transparency policy has been developed to ensure the effective and ethical management of the financial resources of the Hatay Psychologists Association. Our policy includes regularly updating financial reports, transparently sharing financial information with stakeholders, and conducting internal and external audits to guarantee the proper use of funds.
- Core Principles
The core principles of financial transparency at the Hatay Psychologists Association are as follows:
- Open and Accurate Disclosure: Financial reports and declarations are regularly updated and shared with stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information.
- Auditing and Reporting: All financial processes are regularly reviewed through internal and external audit mechanisms. These audits are conducted to ensure the accuracy and transparency of financial statements.
- Ethical Standards: All financial transactions are carried out in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements. A zero-tolerance policy is applied against unethical practices such as corruption and bribery.
- Fund and Resource Management: Funds and donations are used solely for their intended purposes. Strict control and reporting processes are implemented to prevent the misuse of funds.
- Implementation
The financial transparency policy applies to all financial transactions, fund acquisition processes, donation acceptance, and supplier relations of the Hatay Psychologists Association. Our policy includes the following steps to ensure that financial data is presented accurately, clearly, and accessibly:
- Financial Reporting: The Association prepares annual financial reports and shares them with stakeholders. These reports provide a detailed overview of the organization's financial status, income, and expenditures.
- Internal and External Audits: Internal audits are regularly conducted to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of financial processes. Independent external auditors verify the transparency and accuracy of financial statements.
- Transparent Communication: The Association maintains open and transparent communication with all stakeholders regarding financial data and decision-making processes. This promotes stakeholder access to information and encourages their involvement in the process.
- Feedback Mechanisms: Feedback received from stakeholders is regularly evaluated and used to improve processes.
- Responsibilities
The Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, the Ethics Committee, employees, and members play a critical role in the implementation of the financial transparency policy. All parties cooperate and fulfill their responsibilities to ensure that financial processes are conducted ethically and transparently. The Board of Directors oversees the implementation of the policy and updates it when necessary. The Audit Committee ensures compliance of financial processes with legal regulations and internal policies.
- Policy Updates
This policy is regularly reviewed and updated based on the evolving needs of the Hatay Psychologists Association and stakeholder feedback. All employees and stakeholders are informed about updates and are expected to continue complying with the policy requirements.
